25-year-old Man Rapes 11-year-old in Osun

 

A heartless young man aged 25, has been remanded in prison after he mercilessly raped an 11-year-old girl.

 

The Modakeke Chief Magistrate’s Court asked the police to remand Kabiru Daramola for committing such inhumane act against a minor.

 

Police prosecutor, Ona Glory arraigned the accused on a four-count charge of gross indecency, impersonation, procurement of minor and unlawful sexual intercourse, a crime she said contravened Sections 32 (1) (2), 360, 361 and 484 of State Child's Right Laws. 

 

Ona told the court that Daramola forcefully had carnal knowledge of the minor without her consent on Sept 26, 2015 at 2:30pm at No 5, Oke-Owu Street, Modakeke, in Ife East Area Office of Osun State.

 

Daramola pleaded not guilty to the four-count charges. The Senior Magistrate Bose Awosan ordered that Daramola be remanded in Ile-ife Prison and adjourned the case till Nov. 23.
