A former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has revealed the person he believes is the most popular Igbo man after Nnamdi Kanu.
Kanu is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra.
According to Omokri, Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) is “the most popular Igbo man on earth after Nnamdi Kanu”.
Obi is a former Anambra State Governor and erstwhile Vice-Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a Twitter post on Thursday, Omokri wrote:
“After Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Peter Obi is the most popular Igbo man on planet Earth. He represents the Igbo zeitgeist and has the mandate of many Nigerian youths. I therefore appeal to Chief Digar Ezenwafor to consider this, and step down for Peter in Nigeria’s interest!"
