A notorious bandits' leader has been killed in Zamfara state.
The kingpin was killed by troops of Nigerian Military attached to Operation Hadarin Daji.

The Director, Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. Must Danmadami, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, October 20, 2022, explained that the terrorist was killed during a gun duel with the military.
He said two other terrorists’ were also neutralised while their followers fled with gunshot injuries.
"Troops of Operation HADARIN DAJI conducted a fighting patrol to bandits enclave at Doka village Gando Forest in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State today, 20 October 2022," the statement read.
"During the patrol, troops made contact with bandits and engaged with enormous/deliberate fire. Troops in the process neutralized two terrorists while others fled with injuries.
"During exploitation of the general area, one of the neutralized terrorist was identified as Mr Ibrahim Chire, a notorious bandit leader known for terrorizing Gando, Gwashi, Bukkuyum and Anka general areas."
He added that the troops later recovered one AK 47, 4 round of 7.62mm Special, one Motorcycle, mobile phones amongst others.
