Popular Nigerian media personality, TV host and speaker, Rufai Oseni, has asked an important question in the wake of naira notes scarcity.
He asked if politicians truly care about the populace.
The media personality asked the question following last Friday's visit to President Buhari by some state governors over the crisis concerning the newly redesigned Naira notes.
In some tweets he posted on his handle, Rufai wrote; ASUU was on strike for 8 months, Governors didn’t visit Buhari to end it, 5 months of fuel scarcity Governors didn’t visit President Buhari.Naira redesign that will stop vote buying, Governors go to visit Buhari to stop it.The question is do politicians truly care about you?
Governors didn’t visit Buhari over the level of poverty in their state, They didn’t visit the President on insecurity in their state. Now Naira policy to curb vote buying, they visit President Buhari and act like they care for the people.
President Buhari must have the will to support his Naira policy and conviction to birth credible elections for Nigeria.
Politicians are mopping cash from everywhere and they act like they care.If politicians truly care they should bring out all the cash they have and put into the banking system.
The suffering and pains of people are largely caused by the same politicians that now act as heroes.
