Neymar Jr, the Paris Saint-Germain forward, has talked about Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
He claimed that his attacking partnership with Mbappe and Messi could not lift the Champions League because they “didn’t fit in”.
Neymar made this claim in an interview with YouTuber Casimiro Miguel.
The three forwards played together for two seasons at the Parc des Princes, but failed to conquer Europe.
PSG were eliminated in the round of 16 on both occasions, losing to Real Madrid and Bayern Munich respectively.
“We had a very strong team. Messi, Mbappé and I are three guys who are the best in the world. We knew it, but unfortunately we didn’t fit in. It wasn’t good for us,” Neymar said.
However, the Brazilian insisted they wanted to “win everything” but “football is sometimes not the right thing, the fair thing”.
