She narrated how a woman once slapped her for playing the role of a villain in a movie.
Actress Steph-Nora Okere has narrated her experience with a fan who confronted her because of the role she played in a movie.
She spoke while speaking about challenges she has encountered in her acting career.
The 49-year-old spoke in a recent interview with TVC.
She said:
“In the outside world, we have situations whereby people see you for the role you play. Back in the day, I’ve had experiences where a woman gave me a big slap on my back and said ‘you are the one, what you did to your mother-in-law, was that okay?’
“And I’ve been in a restaurant where a guy walked me out and said ‘you can’t sit on that table, you indicted a man of God’ and I’m like when did I do that, and I realised it in a movie, so those challenges are there.”
Steph also talked about her upcoming self-produced film Roberta which features Wale Ojo and Kalu Ikeagwu.
