Mohbad’s Wife And Son Receive His Posthumous Award (Best Street Hop Artiste) At Headies Awards (Video)

A video has captured the heartwarming moment, Omawunmi, the late wife of singer, Mohbad, his son, Liam and his brother, Adura, stepped up to receive his award for Best Street Hop Artist at the 17th Headies Awards.

The family took the stage together, creating a touching and unforgettable moment.

In a short but powerful speech, Mohbad’s wife thanked everyone for standing by them. She spoke on behalf of her late husband and their son, expressing gratitude to the Headies for shining a light on Mohbad’s incredible talent and legacy.

While receiving the award, she said " I don't like to address Him as my late husband because he lives on, especially through our son, Liam"

With visible emotion, she said that even though Liam might not yet understand the greatness of his father, she was sure that one day he would know, he would see how loved and respected his father was.
