I Would Have Been Suicide Bomber, Oil Thief If Not For Music – Burna Boy Says (Video)

Damini Ogulu, Nigeria’s Grammy Award-winning artist, who is popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed what he would have pursued if he weren’t a singer.

Burna Boy disclosed that he would have been a suicide bomber, oil thief, or a prostitute if he wasn’t a singer.

He disclosed this while speaking with one of his followers.

Asked what I would have been doing if he hadn’t ended up as a singer, Burna Boy said: “There are many options, I could be stealing oil, I could be playing basket ball, I could be a fraudster, a suicide bomber, anything including a prostitute.”

The Grammy award winner became Africa’s artist with the most entries on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

This is as his collaborative hit with American rapper Gunna, ‘WGFT’ of the rapper’s new album, ‘The Last Wun’, debuted at number 96 on this week’s Hot 100 chart, bringing Burna Boy’s total entries to 7.

He is also the first African artist to debut a song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in five consecutive years (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025).
