Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has apologized to comedian Akpororo for previously threatening to release intimate videos of him.
Speaking via a post on Instagram, the actress explained that she spoke out of her anger and dismissed any misconception surrounding her statement.
The rift between the duo began when Akpororo intervened in the public feud between Chris Okafor and the actress.
Akpororo advised her to take the dispute off social media and resolve it privately, saying criticisms against Okafor were largely because he is a pastor. He also warned that overexposing the matter online made Doris appear to be overreacting.
Doris responded that Akpororo did not understand the seriousness of her situation and had no right to tell her how to handle it.
She said speaking publicly was necessary for her safety and accused him of hypocrisy, suggesting his advice was influenced by benefits he had received from Okafor.
She also threatened to expose alleged past misconduct involving women if he continued interfering.
Akpororo replied, challenging her to share the video she referred to and dismissing her claims, denying any wrongdoing.
However, the thespian apologised for her allegation.
She wrote, “I tender my sincere apology to Akporo. Whatever I said was said in anger.
"Any misconception it must have caused, please find it in your heart to forgive.”
