Popular media personality Nedu Wazobia has claimed that it is difficult to be seen as a role model in Nigeria if you are poor.
Nedu stated this in his recent podcast with media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
While discussing the negative influence of money in the society, Nedu noted that people no longer respect or choose poor people as their role model.
Speaking in the snippet of the interview shared on his Instagram page, Nedu also claimed that many ladies residing in the Lekki area of Lagos state can’t afford their rent.
“You can’t be a role model when you don’t have money in Nigeria.
"Most women wey dey live for Lekki, na men dey pay their rent.”
NEDU: People think you are gay, which is why I am going to ask you - Are you gay?"
