Edo Shooting: Better Protect Yourself, Nothing Will Happen If You D!e – Afenifere Director Warns Peter Obi

The Director of Research for the apex Yoruba socio-cultural group Afenifere, Akin Fapoumda, has warned 2027 presidential aspirant Peter Obi to take precautions, adding that nothing would change if he were to d!e.

He asked the former Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate to ensure he does not d!e for nothing.

Recall that the motorcade of former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, was riddled with bullets after suspected assassins attacked a gathering of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Edo State.

Obi and others came under de@dly attack during the formal declaration of Akpata into the ADC in Benin City.

“Assassination is not a big deal when you are contesting power with people who are not civilized.

The Edo State Governor, whoever he is, I can’t pronounce his name, just has a village mentality. Oshiomhole just put him there, and he is doing his bidding.

“Oyegun’s house is along the street, next to the government house…

“…If Peter Obi was shot, what would happen? Nothing will happen… Anybody who d!es, just d!es. Peter Obi better protect himself and not just d!e in vain,” he said.

“If he d!es, nothing will happen. People will only protest for a few days, and nothing will happen…”
