A video currently circulating on social media has captured Nigerian singer Asake among thousands of Muslim pilgrims at the Kaaba in Mecca, one of the holiest sites in Islam.
In the clip, the singer can be seen moving through the large crowd of worshippers gathered around the Kaaba, the sacred structure located within the Masjid al-Haram in Saudi Arabia.
The footage shows Asake carefully making his way through the sea of pilgrims as he attempts to get close enough to touch the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad), a revered stone embedded in the corner of the Kaaba and considered deeply significant in Islamic tradition.
Touching or pointing toward the Black Stone is a key spiritual moment for many Muslims performing pilgrimage rituals, symbolizing devotion and reverence. Like many other pilgrims present, the singer appeared focused on fulfilling this important aspect of the worship experience amid the dense crowd surrounding the holy site.
The video has since attracted attention online, with fans reacting to the rare glimpse of the music star taking part in such a deeply spiritual moment.
