Nigeria's Super Eagles have been drawn against Madagascar, Tanzania, and Guinea-Bissau in the qualifying campaign for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
The draw was conducted at the headquarters of the Egyptian Football Association in Cairo on Tuesday.
Éric Chelle's side was placed among the seeded teams for the draw, alongside several of Africa's strongest footballing nations.
Nigeria are widely expected to top the group and secure qualification, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the AFCON 2027 finals.
The qualifying matches will be spread across three FIFA international windows between September 2026 and March 2027.
The opening two matchdays are scheduled for September 21 and October 6, 2026, followed by the third and fourth rounds of fixtures between November 9 and 17, 2026.
The final qualifying matches will take place between March 22 and 30, 2027.
