Afrobeats superstar David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, delivered a thrilling performance at the 60th birthday celebration of Ogun State First Lady, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, treating guests to some of his biggest hits.
A video shared online on Friday captured the singer arriving at the event in his Lamborghini Revuelto, drawing loud cheers from a large crowd before taking to the stage.
The footage showed him performing fan favourites, including "Fall" and "Aye," as guests sang along and danced amid an energetic atmosphere.
The performance formed one of the highlights of activities marking the First Lady's milestone birthday, held in July 2026.
On Thursday, prominent women in Ogun State, led by the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Motunrayo Adeleye, celebrated Mrs Abiodun for her leadership and commitment to women's empowerment and child welfare.
According to a statement signed by Adeleye, the birthday commemoration included a visit to the Juvenile Correctional Centre in Asero, Abeokuta, where the First Lady spent time celebrating with children there.
Adeleye described Mrs Abiodun as a worthy symbol of selfless service, noting that she has consistently supported the state administration through programmes and initiatives focused on empowering women and protecting children.
She added that the First Lady's choice to mark her birthday with children at the correctional centre reflected her compassion and commitment to uplifting the most vulnerable members of society.
