Woman Sparks Online Debate After Calling Men Without Houses at 35 “Useless”

A woman who said that any male over 35 who does not own a home is "useless" has drawn a lot of backlash on social media.

The video has sparked intense discussion since it went viral on social media.

A woman's remarks questioning the worth of men who don't own homes by age 35 have sparked widespread debate online, with many users criticising her comments as unfair and insulting, while a few agreed that financial stability matters.

In the viral clip, the woman questioned why a man would reach the age of 35 without owning a house, describing any man above that age without a home as useless.

She argued that such a man could not claim to have been building his life if he had nothing to show for it by that age, dismissing the idea of waiting until old age to build a house.

Her comments quickly spread online, drawing thousands of reactions from users who pushed back against her views.

Reacting to the video, a user identified as Voice criticised her statement, calling on parents to properly raise their daughters, and argued that house ownership was not the only measure of a man's worth, questioning whether her own father owned a house.

Another user, Animekage, argued that owning a house does not always reflect financial success, noting that he knew men earning significant sums in business or online who still lived in rented apartments.

A user identified as OLIVE questioned what they described as a double standard between men and women, arguing that while a man without a house at a certain age is labelled useless, a woman in the same position is instead seen as a "baby girl" deserving of a king.

Sharing a similar view, a user called Big Deen said such women often had little to show for themselves beyond their wigs and phones, while another user, Chijioke, suggested she should first be asked whether her own brothers or father had built houses of their own.
