Sir Joseph Ezeokafor, a Nigerian billionaire entrepreneur and founder of Jezco Oil and Jezco Group, has reportedly been @bducted in Anambra State.
The businessman, father of social media personality Jowizaza, was allegedly kidn@pped last week while engaged in solitary prayer on a mountain in Awka, according to lawyer Chukwudi Iwuchukwu.
Iwuchukwu disclosed the incident through a social media post on Sunday, noting that Ezeokafor had proceeded to the mountain without his customary security personnel and attached police officers.
According to the lawyer's account, unidentified gunmen @bducted the businessman during his prayer session and transported him to an undisclosed location.
The reported @bduction has created distress and mourning within Ekwulobia, Ezeokafor's community.
Iwuchukwu characterised him as the wealthiest resident and indicated that the incident had disrupted preparations for the community's annual New Yam Festival.
The festival was postponed despite reportedly never having experienced prior delays, as community members determined it inappropriate to proceed with celebrations whilst the family of their "illustrious son" contended with the reported @bduction.
Iwuchukwu attributed Ezeokafor's vulnerability to his decision to pray unaccompanied without his routine security apparatus.
As of the current reporting, no information has been provided regarding whether the businessman has been recovered or whether arrests have been made in relation to the alleged @bduction.
