The African Democratic Congress presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar says 2027 will be his last run for the presidency, regardless of whether he wins or loses.
The former vice president made the declaration during an online live session.
He's been chasing the top job for decades, holding various political positions and switching between parties over the years.
He served as vice president from 1999 to 2007 and has now secured a ticket to run again in 2027.
During the same session, Atiku alleged that President Tinubu's academic certificates are fake.
He said he was the one who first raised questions about Tinubu's educational credentials and he stands by his claim that forgery took place.
According to him, it's not acceptable for Nigeria's president to have doubts hanging over his academic qualifications.
