A young man in Kano State reportedly c@t off one of his own fingers after someone allegedly offered him 80 million naira to provide a human finger.

The incident came to light when the man went to a police station and made a report.

He alleged that someone had offered him the money in exchange for a finger from a living person.

According to the complaint, after failing to find another person willing to provide a finger, the man used a knife to c@t off his own finger and gave it to the person who had made the offer.

However, the man later returned to police and complained that the person refused to pay the promised 80 million naira after receiving the severed finger.

Police arrested the man who allegedly received the body part, and he is currently being held at the Kano State Police Command headquarters in Bompai.

During questioning, the suspect claimed he did not ask for a human finger but rather the bone from the forearm of a living person, a story that differs from what the young man reported.

Police recovered the severed finger and continue investigating the strange circumstances of the case.
