Former Deputy Director, Public Relations of the DSS, Marilyn Ogar
Current reports have it that Marilyn Ogar, who was formerly the deputy director, public relations of the Department of State Services, (DSS) has been recalled after being transferred to Maiduguri, Borno state.
The Cable reports that Ogar, whose transfer was among the new postings since President Buhari appointed
Lawal Musa Daura as the acting DSS director-general, was recalled back for reasons unknown.
The report further claimed that the controversial Ogar was recalled following insinuations that her transfer was punitive.
Reports also pointed out that the DSS spokesperson has also lost her promotion following the nullification of the recent exercise.
It was further gathered that President Buhari strongly refused to swear in the 45 newly promoted State directors last Thursday, July 9, 2015.
Ogar would be remembered for some of her pronouncements, notably in the face-off with the Bring Back Our Girls movement and the DSS raids on the Lagos office of the APC in 2014.
