In Delta: Policewoman Jailed For The Death of Her Estranged Policeman Husband

 

A female Police Sergeant, simply known as Kelechi has been arrested by the Police Command in Delta for allegedly killing her estranged husband Kelechi Aririguzo who was also a police officer.

 

According to Sahara reporters, her husband, Sergeant Aririguzo who has been separated from his wife had on July 9th gone to Ogwashi Ukwu in Delta state to see the daughter he had with Sergeant Kelechi.

 

On getting to the house, his ex-wife (Kelechi) was not pleased with his visit and decided to raise a false alarm claiming he was a kidnapper.

 

Villagers immediately gathered and clubbed Sergeant Aririguzo to death. 

 

Confirming the incident, the Delta state police spokesperson, DSP Celestina Kalu said the suspect is being held in custody along with her accomplices.
