Update: 9 More Suspects Arrested in Connection to Murder of 4-Year-Old Boy in Lagos

 

 

On Monday July 26, the news of a 16 year old boy, Tajudeen Azeez, who was arrested after he allegedly murdered of a 4 year old boy, cutting the corpse open and removing the kidney and intestines, in the Ijanikin-Oto area of Lagos State, went viral.

 

The 16 year old, Azeez, confessed to the police that it was one Osan that contracted him to get the human parts for him for the sum of N50,000, has led the police to arrest nine more suspects in connection with the crime.

 

The new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), in the state, DSP Patricia Amadin, confirmed the arrests and said the force will do everything to get to the root of the matter.

 

Amadin added that the suspects were arrested following a confessional statement by the teenage suspect, declaring that detectives were on the trail of other fleeing suspects.

 

Amadin added that Azeez was arrested with blood stains all over his body and allegedly confessed to the crime.
