This brave Romeo decided he would propose to his sweetheart in the sky as they jetted out on a holiday plane.

41-year old Kevin Christie, took to the intercom onboard the EasyJet flight from Manchester to Mykonos to ask his partner, Kamila Maier, 20, for her hand.

Introduced by an air steward and addressing his girlfriend in ‘row 25’, he said: “Hi baby, basically I’m just going to embarrass myself thoroughly in front of everyone here and say that I’ve loved you since the day I met you and I’ve had the most amazing journey with you so far.

"So as we embark on this journey I just want to tell you, you are the most beautiful, most talented, most amazing girl in the whole world and I was wondering if you would do me the honour of marrying me.”
