The traditional ruler of Itsekiri kingdom in Delta state passed away from an undisclosed illness in a private hospital in Lagos.

Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse II

His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse II, The Olu of Warri, who recently celebrated his 28th anniversary on the throne in 2015 and also celebrated the wedding of his first son earlier in the year, has passed away after a brief illness.

Palace sources disclosed that the traditional ruler of Itsekiri kingdom in Delta State died at a private hospital in Lagos from an undisclosed illness.

He is survived by his wife and children.
