Unbelievable: Mother Shoots Her Own Husband And Two Grown-Up Kids Dead Inside Their Home

In what will come across as a really shocking development, a woman has shot and killed her own husband and two kids at home.

Lauren Stuart, a 45-year-old woman has shot and killed her husband and grown-up kids before turning the gun on herself in a murder-suicide.

This was revealed by the American police.

According to The Sun UK, Lauren Stuart was found dead beside the bodies of Daniel Stuart and their children Steven, 27, and Bethany, 24, at their home in Detroit, Michigan, on Friday.

Investigators said Mr Stuart, 47, and his kids had died of gunshot wounds to the head, ruling their deaths as homicide, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Keith Batchelor, an investigator at the medical examiner's office, ruled Mrs Stuart died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound and determined her cause of death was suicide.

Keego Harbor police said in a statement: "The investigation at the scene and subsequent autopsy ...indicate that Lauren Stuart shot and killed her family members before turning the gun on herself.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of the victims."

Police were called to the property by a relative concerned over the family's safety.

Officers discovered the horror scene inside and recovered a handgun.

Neighbours said Mrs Stuart worked at a gym and described her as "hardworking".

Jacquelyn Tristani said they were a quiet family, adding: "I feel sorry that I couldn't do more (for the family).

"You don't know your neighbours like you maybe should."

Officers have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
