'Transhumanist' Opens Up On How He Modified His Entire Body To Evolve With Technology & Time (Photos)

A transhumanist who has gone through hundreds of body modifications since he was 18-years of age to evolve with technology and time, has opened up on his reasons.

A young man named Russ Foxx, who identifies himself as a ‘transhumanist’, and has had more than 100 modifications added to his body, from electrical key fobs fitted into his hands to unlock his door to horns implanted in his head, has said that he ‘evolves with time and technology’.

According to Metro UK, Russ who disclosed that became fascinated by aesthetic manipulation when he had his ears pierced at age five, said that by 18, he had more than 50 piercings in his face, leading to the nickname ‘tackle box’.

The young man who now works as a body modification artist, giving clients forked snake tongues, ultraviolet tattoos, and pointed ears, said that he is his own walking advert for the massive range of body modifications he can perform.

Speaking to a correspondent, he said; "If there is anything I truly own, it’s my body. I view modifications as the art and my body is the canvas. I define myself as a transhumanist – I evolve with technology and time. I’m always updating; always upgrading.

"Since becoming an adult, I find myself gravitating towards more functional modifications that enhance my natural abilities - such as unlocking my front door with an device I’ve had surgically implanted in my hand.

"Though occasionally I undergo modifications just for aesthetic reasons."

Russ is currently working on upgrading the casted silicone horns he had fitted into his head to ‘lead the shallow and judgmental away’.

Those will go well with the scarification on his head, the ultraviolet tattoos covering his face, and the implanted silicon scarab beetle on his hand. Russ takes a lot of pride in his work, and wants to make sure that if anyone fancies similar body modification procedures, they do it safely.

"I started modifying with ear piercings at the age of five soon leading into brightly coloured hair. I’m not forcing anyone to like the modifications and I encourage people to ask questions if they’re intrigued.

"If you want to ask a modified individual questions, you should always take the same consideration that you would when approaching anybody else in public.

"Whether its tattoos, piercings or advanced body modifications, do not choose the cheap option. You only get one body, and your health is of the upmost importance."
