The arsonist accidentally set himself on fire while trying to torch his former boss's van.
Labourer Kieran Crampton, 23, from Radcliffe, set the vehicle ablaze in revenge after getting the sack.
But his clueless attack at the home on Whitefield saw him ending up in the hospital where he was subsequently arrested.
