Adeyanju had claimed that Obasanjo is supporting Obi and has been the one calling people and reaching out to international allies to fund the Labour Party Presidential candidate's election.

Popular cleric, Apostle Anselm Madubuko has told activist Deji Adeyanju that he might be in for a surprise over his postulation that Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi will come third in 2023 presidential election.

The Apostle spoke after Adeyanju had reacted to photos of Peter Obi and former President Olusegun Obasanjo in a meeting with some Peoples Democratic Party Governors in London, and claimed that the former President is supporting Obi and has been the one calling people and reaching out to international allies to fund the Labour Party Presidential candidate's election.

Reacting to the claim, Apostle Madubuko asked why Deji hates Peter Obi. He also told Deji that "Obi will kill him before 2023" and that he is also "going down".
