Man Arrested For Killing Wife Over Argument In Delta Community

A man has been arrested by the police, led by the Divisional Police Officer, DPO in Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State for allegedly killing his 42-year-old old wife, Oghogho Olori.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a statement.

He said, ”He visited her because he had not heard from her for some time but discovered that the door to the apartment was locked from the outside with an offensive odour coming from the apartment”.

“The DPO swiftly mobilized men who broke into the apartment and discovered that the victim was murdered and the husband was nowhere to be found.

“The Command embarked on a manhunt of the husband who was suspected to have committed the offence.

“Consequently, on 3/11/2022, the husband of the victim reported himself at the Police station and confessed to the crime stating that he murdered her over a disagreement. An investigation is ongoing.”
