Two serving civil servants in the Budget Office of the Federation, Federal Ministry of Finance, Olojede Kolawole and Ogunniyi Bukola Jide, have been declared wanted by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
The anti-graft agency also declared Solomon Ogodo, a serving staff member of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) wanted over issues bordering on employment racketeering and obtaining money by false pretence.
The spokesperson for the commission, Mrs Azuka Ogugua, who announced this, urged Nigerians who know the trio’s whereabouts to report to the headquarters of the agency, its state offices or any police station nearest to them.
She explained to Daily Trust on the phone on Thursday that the announcement became imperative following the commission’s futile efforts to make the suspects honour several invitations or get them apprehended.
“We have made several efforts but it hasn’t yielded results. If you know their whereabouts, you can as well let us know,” Mrs Azuka told our correspondent in a telephone interview.
