Renowned Hausa musician Dauda Kahutu Rarara captivated a crowd in Katsina with a live performance of his latest hit, ‘Omo Ologo’ (Child of Glory), dedicated to President Bola Tinubu.
The performance came during Tinubu’s two-day working visit to the state on Friday, a trip aimed at tackling rising insecurity and launching major development initiatives.
Katsina, home to former President Muhammadu Buhari, has recently been grappling with increasing incidents of bandit attacks and kidnappings, raising urgent security concerns.
As part of his itinerary, President Tinubu is expected to commission the new Katsina Agricultural Mechanised Centre and attend the wedding of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda’s daughter before heading back to Abuja.
In a now-viral video, Rarara was seen performing his new song while Tinubu and Governor Radda watch approvingly, clapping and smiling in support.
