The famous and respected Nigeria actress, Chioma Akpotha got emotional after she emerged the winner of the Best Lead Actress at the AMVCA 2025 for her role in Seven Doors.

The Nollywood actress shared a video on Instagram showing the moment she broke down in tears, clearly overwhelmed by the win.

Captioning the clip, she simply wrote: “Thank you Jesus!!! Words fail me.”

It was obvious the actress hadn’t seen it coming.
