Famous Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, who is popularly known as Mr P, has urged people to value themselves enough to walk away from any environment where their efforts are not recognized or appreciated.

Okoye gave the advice while responding to a post by a fan of his who reflected on the times he was dragged for being ‘only a dancer and not a good singer.’

He had posted a video of himself performing in a studio on X, and the Fan had written: ‘’Person wey them talk say him no sabi sing say na dance him dey dance na him come Sabi sing pass .. false narrative''

Responding, Peter wrote: ‘’But sadly, most people fall for it. In this life, always know your worth. Don’t settle for less, and never stay where you’re not valued or respected.
