Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has hilariously responded to allegations by fellow actress Funke Akindele, who claimed she uses government funds to purchase jewellery and designer bags.
Badmus is the Special Assistant on Social Events and Public Hearing to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria, Tajudeen Abbas.
In a viral video, Funke Akindele jokingly told Eniola Badmus that she was using government funds to buy her jewellery and bags.
Reacting, Badmus made it clear that her wealth comes entirely from her personal earnings and not from any government source.
She added that everything she wears, from bags to jewellery, is locally made and bought with her own money.
Funke said, “You used all the government money to buy jewellery.”
Eniola replied: “Your money isn’t in my hands o please I don’t know what you’re talking about. All I’m wearing is locally made. I used my money to buy them.”
