Nollywood actress Teniola Aladese has revealed her increasing safety concerns in her Lekki estate, Lagos, admitting that she no longer feels comfortable taking walks alone.
In a recent interview on That’s What She Said podcast, Aladese compared her current experience in Lekki to when she lived in Magodo, saying that walking alone, even at 2:00 am was perfectly normal there.
“Walking was part of my routine in Magodo, but here in Lekki, I’ve had several instances where strange men followed me,” she said.
Reflecting on a particularly frightening encounter, the actress added, “On this fateful day, it was God that saved me.
"Since then, I decided to buy and use a treadmill at home.”
