Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has reiterated his commitment to further development in the state as he submits the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship nomination form for a second term.

Eno committed to keep delivering on his campaign pledges by solidifying the Arise Agenda for Development during his second term.

The governor made the new pledges to the people while speaking with journalists after returning from Abuja, where he submitted his candidacy form for a second term.

"This move is a clear indication of my readiness to do more for the state in the coming years."

He recognized that his administration had made tremendous progress, but not all of the goals had been met within his first term.

He intimated that over 82 daring projects are currently under various stages of completion, and that his administration remains committed to completing them.

He urged APC supporters to support his nomination during the primaries, expressing hope that with their help, greater developmental progress would be made.

"I just filed the nomination form. We urge APC members to support our nomination during the primaries, and we will continue to pray and trust God for further development to flourish in the state."

“I assure you of this administration’s resolve to build on existing achievements and ensure that more benefits of governance reach the people if given another mandate.”
