The Lagos State Government has vowed to prosecute a 70-year old woman for applying pepper in a 12-year old boy's penis for allegedly stealing money.
A 70-year old woman in Lagos has done the unthinkable by applying pepper on a 12-year old boy's penis for reportedly stealing money.
According to P.M News, this has attracted the anger of the Lagos State Government as she is set to be prosecuted.
Speaking on the 70-year old woman's saga, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA), Omobolanle Ogunmola reported the ministry got a text message that narrated the ordeal of the 12-year old boy who was brutally beaten by a 70-year old woman for stealing as well as pepper being rubbed on his private part not to talk of the wounds inflicted on him by the woman.
Ogunmola said: “Our team went to Badagry to rescue the boy who attends Ansarudeen Secondary School. From the information gotten from the school, the accused are old.
The woman is around 70 years and the husband, over 75 years, so we could not arrest them, but that does not mean we are not going to prosecute them.
We are going to prosecute them. We will take custody of the boy and take him to school in one of our transient homes,” she said.
Ogunmola reiterated the governor's stand against child abuse and domestic violence. Both women according to her would be duly prosecuted.
