At least 30 shop owners have been arrested in Borno State for sponsoring the activities of terrorist sect, Boko Haram.

No fewer than 30 shop owners have been apprehended in Borno state by security operatives over their sponsorship of Boko Haram activities.

According to Tribune, the suspects were arrested during a raid in Bensheikh and Mainok in the Kaga Local Government Area of the state. The arrest has started yielding results as the arrested business owners have been giving names of top Boko Haram officials to the security operatives grilling them.

This information was revealed by a reliable source who said: “There are going to be surprises if President Buhari is going to act on information at the disposal of security agencies. The news doing the roundabout names of personalities involved in Boko Haram activities and sponsorships is going to shock many Nigerians.”

“Those arrests at Bensheikh last week when we raided the town is already giving signal to the fact that prominent people are involved with the Boko Haram activities."

The alleged shop owners have been so instrumental to the terrorist group as they assisted them in the supply of food items, fuel, financial needs and other necessary provisions needed for their smooth operations. They also stated how they attacked Bensheikh town to deceive people.

From all indications, Boko Haram might be seeing its last days as President Muhammadu Buhari had earlier promised.
