A reliable source has revealed that the Kano Emirate Council has concluded plans to issue a final warning to eldest son of late Ado Bayero, Lamido Ado Abdullahi Bayero to desist from what they termed disloyalty and desertion of his primary post.

According to Leadership, The Ciroma of Kano, Alhaji Lamido Ado Bayero the eldest son of the late Ado Bayero have continued to vent his anger for not occupying the seat left vacant by his dead father. The seat now occupied by his cousin, Sanusi Lamido has generated a lot of controversy leading to confrontation and disagreement.

Some people believe Ciroma of Kano was denied his birthright when the throne of his father was given to his cousin. Since then, he has continued to vent his anger on that.

The Kano Emirate Council consider Ciroma's actions unacceptable and have urged him to pledge allegiance to his cousin or be stripped of his traditional title. A reliable source said letter to that effect has been written and will be served him soon.

Such disloyalty happened a long time in the history of Kano emirate which later resulted in confrontation and war between the two royal families. The Kano Emirate Council called on Ciroma to pledge allegiance to the new Emir to avoid a repeat of history.

However, Professor Emeritus, Dahiru Yahaya believes that the late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero did not want any of his sons to succeed him. He explained that the late Emir who was his childhood friend was told that according to the history of the emirate that if any of the sons of the Emir who succeeds him will end up in exile. He revealed that the late Emir did not want any of his children to succeed him.

It is obvious by the action of the late Emir's eldest son that he doesn't buy the story as told by the respected Professor Emeritus, Dahiru Yahaya. Ciroma continues to fight for the throne of his father and has refused to pledge allegiance to the new Emir.
