While Galatasaray are bidding to sign Musa on a permanent deal, Trabzonspor are seeking a loan move for the 26-year-old, according to the report.
Ahmed Musa
Two Turkish clubs Galatasaray and Trabzonspor are in a race to sign Nigeria international Ahmed Musa this summer, according to a report on Fanatik.
Musa, who joined Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr from Leicester City for about £16m last summer, scored seven times and provided seven assists in 24 matches in his debut season.
Both teams are looking to add the Al-Nassr forward to their ranks as they bid to bolster their squads ahead of the new campaign.
While Galatasaray are bidding to sign Musa on a permanent deal as a replacement for Senegalese forward Mbaye Niang, who is set to leave the club, Trabzonspor are seeking a loan move for the 26-year-old, according to the report.
“Musa is a primary target for both Trabzonspor and Galatasaray but with separate terms,” stated the report on Fanatik.
Should he join Trabzonspor, the 26-year-old will become the fourth Nigerian at the club after Ogenyi Onazi, Anthony Nwakaeme and Mikel Obi.
The Nigeria vice-captain, capped 85 times, has scored 15 goals for the Super Eagles.
