Yoruba Actress, Adenike Adegboye Battles Undisclosed Illness (Video)

It has been revealed that the ace Nigerian actress, Adenike Adegboye, who is better known as Iya Ibeji, is currently battling an undisclosed illness.

In a recent video shared on Instagram, Foluke Daramola, another actress, called on the public for financial support and prayers for her ailing colleague.

In the video, Daramola is seen visiting Iya Ibeji at the hospital. She also presented food, gifts, and money to her.

“Please let’s try to remember Iya Ibeji in our prayers and send any amount of financial assistance that we can afford to her bank account,” she said.

In a follow-up post, Daramola said Iya Ibeji is “getting better”. She also shared the bank details of the ailing actress for those interested to support her.

Daramola and Iya Ibeji are popular for their roles in the Yoruba-language film industry in Nigeria.

The ace actress has performed in a number of old theatrical productions.

She has also featured in several films including ‘Ẹ̀kọ ìbílẹ̀’, ‘Ìyá Àgan’, ‘Omo Araye Le, and ‘Ọya Gbàjarè’.
