I'm Not In Rush To Be On Rema, Asake's Level - Victony

Popular Nigerian singer, Victony has said that he is not in a haste to achieve the level of stardom of his colleagues, Rema and Asake.

He made this known while reacting to the claims by some social media users that his debut album ‘Stubborn’ wasn’t “commercially successful” because he didn’t have “haters” to post negative comments that will make it trend on social media.

Reacting, Victony said the assumption was “dumb,” stressing that those pushing the narrative have high expectations for the album beyond his current status in the music industry.

On his X handle, Victony wrote: ''Lmao, Victony need more haters gotta be the dumbest sh*t I seen cos what’s the rush? Everyone wanna be Rema and Asake in 2 hours?”
