A mother of four has successfully graduated from junior secondary school even after being mocked severally.

Elizabeth Yamoah from Ghana, the oldest Basic Education Certificate Examination candidate has expressed happiness after completing her junior secondary school education at the age of 57.
Yamoah said she is glad to have completed and she is determined to continue her education to the Senior High School “SHS” so she can accomplish her dreams and aspiration.
Yamoah attended Odoben Presby Basic “A” Junior High School and on the 18th of September, wrote her final paper and graduated as a Junior High School Graduate.
According to her she was mocked but her resilient took her through and she is grateful to God.
Elizabeth Yamoah is a mother of four and has admitted that her challenge was ICT because her school lacked equipment.
Also, on Friday, 18th September, 2020, Swedru Teachers Cooperative Credit Union donated a cash of GHC 1,000 to 57-year-old JHS graduate, Maame Elizabeth Yamoah for successfully completing her Junior High School Education.
The Credit Union also appointed Maame Elizabeth Yamoah as an Ambassador for Youth Saving Account in Ghana.
